A single infected bird could introduce harmful animal diseases into Canada, such as Avian Influenza (bird flu).

Declare all live birds, poultry, eggs, feathers, meat and other bird products when entering Canada. If you witness smuggling, report it.

Do your part to protect the health of our poultry, pets and wild birds, and reduce the chance of diseases entering the country.
